Miriam studied voice and piano at the Kansas City Conservatory of Music and The American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, where she received numerous Awards at their voice competitions. As a mezzo -soprano, she possesses a unique singing quality, and her wide variety of songs in different languages has made her popular in and around Chicago.

She has performed at several major hotels, restaurants and clubs, including various social functions, events, participated in musical theater, and has entertained at benefit performances. She was featured as a guest artist at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, at their "International Coffee House" series, and sang at the Palmer House during a gala dinner where Mayor Richard Daley attended.

Her repertoire includes popular and Broadway show- tunes, along with a variety of international songs in Italian, Russian, Polish, Yiddish and Hebrew. Her biggest passion is musical theatre.

Theatre experience includes: Milk and Honey as Ruth, Joseph & the Amazing Coat as Jacob's wife, Jerry's Girls, La Cage Aux Follies as Jacqueline, the Sound of Music as a nun, My Fair Lady, and many others.
